5,00 €

Tibur Agirre, who was honoured with the 'Amigo del Pan Euskadi' (Basque Country Bread Advocate) award in 2016, will welcome you just outside the Igaralde Farmhouse and Bread Museum. He'll host you at his home, where he continues to bake bread using the traditional techniques that have been passed down in his family for more than five generations.
Tibur will demonstrate these techniques and help you make a small loaf of delicious bread, which you can stuff with txistorra, a traditional Basque sausage, if you'd like. While the bread bakes, you'll take a tour of the museum.
On your tour of the Bread Museum, you'll learn about the history of bread and its role in the traditional Basque farmhouse and popular culture. You'll also visit the Igaralde Bekoa farmhouse, where you can see the 500-year-old mill in action.
The tour will conclude at the traditional bread oven, where you'll taste your delicious homemade bread.
