A sweet workshop with Rafa Gorrotxategi, chocolate in Tolosa
Master confectioner Rafa Gorrotxategi opens the doors of his kitchen in Tolosa for you to discover them. The cherry on the cake of your confectionery experience is trying his sweet creations.
The bell can be heard from the back of the Gorrotxategi confectioners and cake shop and, with a call of "Banijoa!" ("Coming!" in Basque), this chocolate-making family comes out to welcome you. A sweet tradition that goes back to the 17th century, and which has made this shop part of the living history of Tolosa.
