Premium visit to the Petritegi cider maker

A visit for lovers of cider and Basque cuisine, including a tour of the facilities and trying a magnificent traditional menu.

On this Premium visit we'll have the chance to discover the least-known corners of Petritegi, a 16th-century farmhouse and cider press. We'll visit the orchard, the presses and the cellar with its immense wooden "kupelas" or barrels, in a comprehensive tour to find out all about the world of cider or “sagardoa”.
After the tour we'll try the cider, together with a cooked chorizo "pintxo" and a traditional cider house menu including a cod omelette, cubes of cod with green peppers, T-bone steak, local cheese with quince jelly and walnuts and "tejas" and "cigarrillos" (sweet biscuits) from Casa Eceiza.
And of course cider drawn straight from the barrels in the traditional ritual of "txotx".
